Students will proudly dress up as beloved characters from their favorite books and parade around the school, celebrating the joy of reading with creativity and fun!

WINTER GIRLS FLAG Football REGISTER: before Sept 20th STARTS: October 19th
Sunday afternoons, and some Fridays AGES: K - 8th grade, HS
GIRLS FLAG is a GIRLS ONLY flag football league, K-8th grade. Girls get to play the game they have watched or cheered for. Join with a group of friends, or as a single, and enjoy a new team sport and HAVE FUN. You will receive an NFL jersey, shorts and flags. These games are FUN to play and FUN to watch! Games will be double headers on Sunday afternoons and occasional Friday nights. WINTER HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS FLAG division Check out our website for information on the HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS Flag Division! 17 states have official sanctioned GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL as a VARSITY SPORT. 65 NCAA, 35 NAIA and 6 NJCAA schools offer women’s flag football as a varsity sport with scholarships. Many high school girls already have a core sport they focus on - but that does not mean then can’t play flag football too! NFL FLAG is a great way to compete, stay active, and have fun without impacting your main sport. The teams are not limited to school athletes - ANYONE can play.

Kuehnle Earns A in TEA Accountability Ratings
We’re celebrating success! Kuehnle has earned an A rating in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings. This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and families. Thank you for supporting Kuehnle and helping us ensure every student enters with a promise and exits with a purpose. To learn more about Klein ISD’s ratings, please visit our Accountability Website.

Klein ISD earned an A rating in the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) component of the Texas Education Agency’s 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings and maintained a B overall, rising from an 80 in 2023 to an 86 in 2025.
Since the TEA raised performance standards in 2023, the district has seen a 30% increase in A-rated schools, a 13% increase in B-rated schools, and a 55% decrease in C-rated schools, with no schools rated D or F. All five high schools and all ten intermediate schools earned an A or B, and students across Klein ISD earned 127 academic distinctions, a 37% increase since 2023.
