As part of our campus security measures you must have your ID scanned this school year to attend the events. You can come anytime before Monday, November 3rd at noon to have your ID scanned. If you are unsure if it has already been scanned you can call the front office at (832) 484-6650.

You're invited to a magical morning of imagination and literacy! On Friday, October 31 at 9:00 a.m., Kuehnle students will bring their favorite book characters to life during our Storybook Character Parade.
Students will proudly dress up as beloved characters from their favorite books and parade around the school, celebrating the joy of reading with creativity and fun!

We are hoping for great weather to hold the parade outdoors on the jogging path, with spectator seating on the grass. Don’t forget to bring your own chair for comfortable viewing!
In case of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors, and we will notify you in advance. Watch for updates as the event date approaches.

If you have not RSVP’d or had your driver’s license scanned in Raptor, please plan to check in at the front office for a visitor badge.
Arrive early to allow time for check-in so you don’t miss the parade!
Costume Guidelines
Students are encouraged to wear simple, homemade costumes that represent characters from a book they love.
Each student must carry a copy of their book during the parade.
Halloween costumes are not allowed.
Props are welcome, as long as they are not weapons and can be carried alongside the book.
We can't wait to see our students' creativity shine—and to celebrate the stories that inspire them. We hope you’ll join us for this joyful event!

We are excited to kick off our Big Kahuna Fundraiser starting TODAY, and we truly appreciate your support! The funds raised will directly enhance our students’ educational experiences through new materials and engaging activities.
Important Information:
Fundraiser Packets: Look for packets being sent home with your student today. Please check their backpacks!
Incentives for Students: There are fantastic rewards waiting for students—the more they sell, the more they earn!
Ticket Submission: Starting Monday, August 25th, students can turn in their signed tickets to collect their rewards. Please remember: tickets should only be submitted after an item has been sold and must include a parent's signature.
Exciting Highlights:
We are thrilled to bring back the popular party bus ride! Students who sell 15 items or more will have the chance to enjoy this amazing experience.
Additionally, we offer a family plan option for those who sell 20 items with their siblings. Be sure to check the fundraiser packet for all the details!

Kuehnle Earns A in TEA Accountability Ratings
We’re celebrating success! Kuehnle has earned an A rating in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings. This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, staff, and families. Thank you for supporting Kuehnle and helping us ensure every student enters with a promise and exits with a purpose. To learn more about Klein ISD’s ratings, please visit our Accountability Website.
Klein ISD earned an A rating in the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) component of the Texas Education Agency’s 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings and maintained a B overall, rising from an 80 in 2023 to an 86 in 2025.
Since the TEA raised performance standards in 2023, the district has seen a 30% increase in A-rated schools, a 13% increase in B-rated schools, and a 55% decrease in C-rated schools, with no schools rated D or F. All five high schools and all ten intermediate schools earned an A or B, and students across Klein ISD earned 127 academic distinctions, a 37% increase since 2023.
