RSVP

Please join us on Friday, March 31st at 9:00 a.m. to watch as Kuehnle Students celebrate characters from their favorite books.  Students will parade around Kuehnle dressed as a character from their favorite book.

You will need to RSVP by NOON on Tuesday, March 28th if you would like to be a parade spectator.  An RSVP table will be set up outside to receive your badges. 

We will be watching the weather forecast to determine if the parade can be held outside on the jogging path with spectators sitting around the path on the grass.  You’ll want to bring your own chair. If we need to move the event inside, we will notify you prior to the event. As we get closer to the parade date we will send out an update of the location for the parade.  

Visitors who have not RSVP'd or who have not had their driver's license scanned at Kuehnle will need to go into the front office to get your visitor's badge.  Please arrive early since you might need to wait in a long line to get your badge.  We do not want you to miss the parade!

For parents/visitors who wish to take their child(ren) to the book fair after the parade the Book fair will close promptly at 11:30 am. We will have a form for you to fill out with your child's name and teacher.  Once the parade is over, we will send a staff member to your child's room to get him/her and bring him/her to the book fair to meet you.

Character costumes should be inexpensive, homemade costumes.  Students must also have a copy of the book to carry. No Halloween costumes, please!  Students may bring props as long as the prop is not a weapon and as long as the student can carry the prop in addition to carrying their book.
