Hello,
I am Charles Austin and I teach music at Kuehnle Elementary. Music is a fun and exciting subject at Kuehnle! We believe music is an important part of the lives of all people and cultures. We believe that a major value of music is in the positive self-image that results from many different ways of being. We believe that music can embrace, enhance, and support all other subject areas and still maintain its own integrity as that special intelligence we call music. We believe that exploring music and being successful with music can have a profound effect on each student.
We have both daily work and we also spend time preparing for large productions throughout the school year. Some examples of this are:
