There are two steps to becoming a volunteer at our school:
- Sign up into the CERVIS system
- Completing a criminal background check.

Kuehnle Volunteer Position Descriptions
ANNUAL/MEMORY BOOK - Assist with proofing and taking pictures of students for the end of year annual.
ART HELPERS - Assist the art teacher with hanging up and taking down art displays throughout the school. Also, assisting with the Art museum that takes place during one week in Spring.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION - This ongoing fundraiser needs volunteers to collect and track box tops and assist in friendly competitions between the students.
CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION - Use your gardening skills to prune small trees and maintain attractive displays at the front of the school and in the marquee on the corner of Winding Ridge Dr.
CLASSROOM READERS - (Pre-K -3 every Fri.) (3rd-5th Popcorn Fri.) This is a chance to read to your child's class or someone else's that needs parent readers.
CLINIC HELP - Assist nurse with hearing and vision testing during the Fall.
COMPUTER ROOM HELPERS - (K ONLY) Assist Kindergarten teachers in computer room during weekly sessions. Help students log on and stay on task with assignments.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT - Help out during the big party that Kuehnle throws every Spring!
FIELD DAY - Come and watch the kids play, guide events, and pass out cold drinks during this multi-day event.
FIFTH GRADE CELEBRATION - Help plan special events such as luncheon, pool party, living museum, service project, and bake sale during the Spring semester and celebrate our graduating 5th graders!
FUN RUN - This annual event needs volunteers to assist during the event. More details to come!
HELPING HANDS - (Pre-k - 2nd) Let the teachers teach while you prepare supplies for the classroom lessons and projects. Come up to the school on a weekly basis or as available.
HOLIDAY PARTY COORDINATORS - Work with your child's teacher to plan and host holiday class parties in December and February. Duties include distributing snacks, organizing games and crafts.
HOSPITALITY - Assist Hospitality chair with teacher luncheons and special monthly events for teacher and staff. This can involve decorating, baking, or donating food items.
LIBRARY HELPERS - Assist the librarian with re-shelving books and performing other needed tasks. Also assist with book fairs.
LUNCH HELPERS - Assist children opening lunch packages, cleanup tables, and keep lunchtime calm!
MATH TUTORS - Assist teachers by helping students with math facts/problems.
MUSIC APPRECIATION PROGRAMS - Assist during the annual puppet show for music appreciation week. Also assist the music teachers with music programs by helping make costumes, props, and possibly serve as stage hands the night of the program.
POPCORN EVENTS - Volunteers needed on report card days to pop and serve popcorn to students.
SKATING/BOUNCING BEARS PARTIES - Volunteers needed to distribute and collect parent permission slips and chaperone the parties for all grades.
WUNDERLICH FARMS FIELD TRIP (4TH GRADE) - this annual field trip takes Kuehnle 4th graders to Wunderlich Farms. Volunteers are need as docents during the field trip. It will require one day of training prior to the event.
WATCH D.O.G.S. - Calling all dads, uncles, grandfathers, etc. This is a wonderful program where dads get to come up to the school for a half/full day to assist children and teachers and have fun! A schedule will be provided.
