Welcome to Kuehnle Elementary, Home of the Koalas!

4th Annual Hoedown!
P.E. students will be learning dances in preparation for the big dance on February 23rd. On that day, students may dress in their cowboy and cowgirl garb, but please no spurs or toy weapons. 

Parents are invited to join us at the hoedown during their student's specials time (see times below). Please RSVP by clicking the RSVP button on the right hand side of he screen if you plan to attend so that we can have your Vistor's Badge ready upon your arrival. RSVPs will be accepted from February 15th-February 21st. Vistors who do not RSVP will need to visit the front office to have a badge printed. 

Hoedown Times

5th Grade: 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.
3rd Grade: 9:15 - 10:00 a.m.
Morning PK / 2nd Grade: 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
4th Grade: 10:45-11:30 a.m. 
Afternoon PK / Kindergarten: 12:45-1:30 p.m. 
1st Grade: 1:30-2:15 p.m. 

Read Across America Week, February 26th - March 2nd
Kuehnle will be celebrating Read Across America week! Students will be participating in reading activities and trivia contests tied to Dr. Seuss books. 

Monday, Feb. 26th - Put Me in the Zoo
Wear Polka Dots
Tuesday, Feb. 27th - I Can Read with my Eyes Shut
Bring a pair of sunglasses to read with
Wednesday, Feb. 28th - Wacky Wednesday
Wear mismatched or backwards clothing

Wear colors that match your personality
Friday, March 2nd - If I Ran the Circus
Wear animal print/animal picture clothing

New School Hours for 2017-2018
Klein ISD Elementary School Hours for the 2017-2018 School Year:

7:50 a.m. - Students may enter the building
8:14 a.m. - School Begins
3:35 p.m. - Dismissal
